Veluvana Vihara – Rajgir

The Buddha Sangha of Japan have also constructed at Rajgir a magnificent Vihara, a model of the Venuvana Vihara where the Buddha had oftern stayed, while at Rajgir. Built in an area of 32,400 sq.ft., Veluvana is the biggest Vihara in modern India. The inaugural ceremony of the veluvana Vihara was performed on 24 October 1981
